What clearing actually includes

Clearing a lot is not one task, it is four, and bids vary wildly because contractors quietly leave some of them out. We price the stumps, the root mat and the haul-off, because those are the ones that turn into a change order later.

Trees are a permit question before they are a machine question

Most Central Florida jurisdictions protect trees over a certain caliper, and several require a survey, an arbor permit and mitigation before anything comes down. Removing a protected tree without that paperwork is an expensive mistake, and it lands on the property owner.
